Hello World,
After several years of reflection, experimentation, and parallel projects, this new website marks an important milestone: bringing together all my practices and perspectives in one place.
Haig.fr is not simply a portfolio. It is intentionally a generalist site, designed as a point of convergence for my various photographic activities—artistic photography, architecture, portraiture, weddings—but also for photographing works of art, a demanding discipline where fidelity, precision, and respect for the artist’s intention are essential.
While my images may appear very different depending on the context, they are nonetheless linked by the same requirement: that of observation, precise framing, and respect for the subject. Whether it’s a work of art, an architectural space, a human presence, or a piece of artistic photography, the approach remains the same: observe, choose, isolate the essence.
This News page naturally complements this website. It was conceived as a space similar to what a ‘Blog’ was, and won’t be a place for immediate exchange. The articles published here will offer reflections on photography, creative processes, aesthetic choices, and the evolution of techniques, but also broader perspectives on the image, time, matter, and what constitutes meaning in visual practice today.
This new space is also a way to reconnect with a more editorial approach, already explored many years ago through an initial website that, over time, became a benchmark for many. Haig.fr continues in this vein, while fully embracing the present.
